'Bullheaded Boy' is the first song to reach light from the first full length album by former Doe drummer Jake Popyura under his Supermilk moniker. For fans missing his old band there's a lot of familiar ground; jaunty indie rock lead lines, catchy vocal interplay, and hummable riffs that evolve just as you're getting used to them. Anyone unfamiliar will find a lot to like if early Weezer and Pavement sound like positive reference points.
